How to make a tier list

Add the items you want to rank, drag each one into a tier from S down to F, rename or recolour the rows to suit what you are ranking, then export the result as an image or share a link.

  1. 1Add your items

    Start from a template or upload your own images. You can drop in a whole folder of pictures at once, or type plain text items if you do not need images.

  2. 2Drag them into tiers

    Drag each item into the row where you think it belongs. On a phone, tap the item and then tap the tier - no dragging needed.

  3. 3Customise the tiers

    Rename the rows, change their colours, add extra tiers or remove the ones you are not using. The default S, A, B, C, D and F setup is only a starting point.

  4. 4Save and share

    Export the finished tier list as a PNG image, or share a link so other people can see it and make their own version.

A tier list is only interesting if it commits to something. If most of your items end up in S and A, the list stops saying anything - the useful signal is which few things you were willing to put at the top and which you were willing to put at the bottom. Decide up front what you are ranking for, too: the best characters to play and the best characters to watch produce very different lists.
